A new and uncharted direction...
I was a burnt-out lecturer of over 30 years. I loved teaching dance and performing arts, devising and directing plays, working creatively with superb colleagues and students. But the endless, restrictive and pointless bureaucracy was something I could no longer support. After a particularly hard week, I handed in my notice. How it all started...
I’ve always liked a nice map or pictorial representation – tube map, mathematical drawing, puzzle – I’m not exactly sure when this nerdiness started. As a young child I also found myself drawn to physical activity. I revelled in the joy of simply moving. Dolls and pink fluffy things were not for me.
