Payment must be made in advance.

Please contact the leader if you are unable to attend for any reason.

Refunds can only be given if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice before the walk.

Walks may be cancelled or cut short due to lack of participants or for health and safety reasons (including problems with the trail, dangerous weather conditions, serious injury to a member of the group). If an event is cancelled, you will be offered a full refund.

Health and Safety

All participants must complete and return a medical and information form prior to the walk. If you have a health issue it is your responsibility to take appropriate steps to safeguard yourself. Please contact the walk leader in advance if you wish to discuss the suitability of a walk for your fitness level.

All walks will begin with a safety briefing. Participants are responsible for listening to safety instructions and advice given during the walk. The leader is not responsible for any injury resulting from a failure to observe this advice.

Under 18’s must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times

Walk Logistics

Walks will aim to start at the advertised time. Latecomers may be left behind. If you have issues due to train times etc the leader may agree to adjust the start time if you contact them in advance.

Walk timings are approximate. Please leave enough time to complete the walk and ensure you have paid for a suitable amount of parking time.

Equipment: participants should read and follow advice on essential and useful equipment. Failure to come properly prepared may result in you not being allowed to join the walk.

Conduct

All walkers will be expected to adhere to the Countryside Code (this can be viewed at The Countryside Code or  The Countryside Code: advice for countryside visitors - GOV.UK)

All walkers are expected to behave in a courteous, friendly and non-judgemental manner towards other walkers and those we meet on the trail. Please approach divisive, sensitive or controversial topics with extra respect, care and kindness.

The walk leader reserves the right to discontinue the walk at any time and also to refuse participation.

Participants should not walk under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Dogs are allowed on some walks. Please see the detailed information for each walk. They will need to be on leash at all times and on a short lease across private land or on roads. Only well behaved and socialised dogs are welcome. Owners are responsible for their dogs. Please bring necessary provisions for your dog including water, snacks and poo bags! Dogs will not be allowed in hot weather for their own safety.
