About me
Hello! I’m Lisa and I’m passionate about maps, rambling and the great outdoors (cows… not so much). I’ve been exploring the SE countryside for over 16 years and enjoy helping others to develop their knowledge and skills. We are so lucky to have so much amazing landscape with such rich history on our doorstep, and I’m keen to share it with as many people as possible!

Having explored my local area for many years with the mutt, I walked the coastlines of Kent and East Sussex before venturing inland. I’ve completed both Hill Skills and NNAS Silver Navigation courses in the Peak District. I’m currently undertaking the Lowland Leader course and am training to be a North Downs Way ambassador. I’m a member of the international women’s walking group Sole Sister Ramblers, and a founder member of their Kent circle. I love to explore local routes, laugh a lot and eat cake! In a past life I taught dance and performing arts for over 30 years, including anatomy and fitness. I spent the last 10 years of my career training young adults with SEND. I was also an assistant scout leader for 3 years. I’m neurodivergent (AuDHD) and keen to challenge stigmas and help others understand why nature is such a great motivator for us!
