About The Event
Description
Come and enjoy the beach in the winter! A relaxed pace walk inland along footpaths to Seasalter, and return along the beach, where we will discover the history of oyster fishing and the beach huts. We will then head towards Tankerton Slopes passing Whitstable Castle, and finally back along the beach, tracing a figure of 8. We will learn about (and hopefully see) the geological feature The Street and witness sunset on the day before the Winter Solstice!
