About The Event
Step into a journey that connects you with a deeper story - one shaped by three remarkable women whose courage helped lay the foundations of Christianity in Kent and across England. On this third section of the Camino, you’ll walk in the footsteps of Princess Eanswythe, granddaughter of Queen Bertha, and niece of Queen Etheburga, who founded a minster in Folkestone. As we travel together, we’ll talk about what draws people to pilgrimage - whether it’s reflection, renewal, curiosity, or simply the joy of being outdoors - and we’ll touch on the history of other famous walking routes that have inspired seekers for centuries. This stretch of the Camino opens into sweeping clifftop views and passes a trig point as we descend to the coastal path.
