About The Event
Explore the historic church of Queen Ethelburga, daughter of Bertha, in Lyminge, filled with beautiful and surprising works of art. As we travel together, we’ll talk about what draws people to pilgrimage—whether it’s reflection, renewal, curiosity, or simply the joy of being outdoors—and we’ll touch on the history of other famous walking routes that have inspired seekers for centuries. This stretch of the Camino opens into sweeping hilltop views and quiet rural paths, offering a more remote and contemplative experience than the first section. In the woodlands, spring carpets of wildflowers create moments of colour and wonder along the way.
If you’re looking for a walk that blends story, landscape, and meaning, this is a beautiful place to continue the journey.
