About The Event
Come for a ramble and learn some basic skills to plan and carry out your own walks. No pressure… a fun session… no prior knowledge required, just a curiosity to learn! Maps and other equipment provided.
We will start with a short theory session (you can buy tea / coffee in the pub).
This will be followed by a short circular walk from Shipbourne via Dunks Green and passing Ightham Mote. We will take frequent stops for simple activities.
Learn:
· To identify different types of footpath
· To recognise some common map symbols
